"Effloresco Lux is a part of my Rose Colored Windows series which is about finding hope and resiliency through the complexity of life’s struggles. This piece is inspired by traditional stained glass Rose Windows which were designed to let in light and color and symbolize wholeness, reflecting the petals of a rose. This piece’s starburst pattern highlights the latin definition of effloresco which means to blossom or bloom as it finds its’ design inspiration from the bursting center of flowers with their intricate biological patterns that bring forth life and vivacity even in the midst of pain."
